Finacle Not Opening through POS After 4.6 | Possible Solution

Steps to resolve finacle not opening through POS after 4.6 update.

1. Double click on This PC (Windows 10 PC) in the desktop

2. Go to C drive by double clicking Local Disk (C: ) and double click on POS folder

3. Double click on Application folder

4. Double click on Counter folder

5. Double click on build folder

6. Double click on Version Folder

7. Right click on latest.version folder and click on Open with Below screen will appear

8. Click on More apps and choose Notepad as below and click OK
Below Screen will appear.

9. Rename 4.6 to 4.5 (Just remove 6 and type6 , remaining characters should not be changed)

10. Click on File and click on Save. Close the Notepad screen.

11. Again go the C drive . Double click on POS folder, double click on Application folder and Double

click on Counter folder. Below screen will appear.

12. Now double click on PTC_3.1. Double click on start (start.bat) as shown below

13. Click on Get latest version.  Click Next>>Next

Click Finish

Click OK.

After this finacle will open through POS.
